The Hazards in Social Housing (Prescribed Requirements) (England) Regulations 2025
Starting 27 October 2025 , these new rules (part of Awaab's Law) make social landlords in England act fast on serious damp and mould issues in rental homes. It's Phase 1 of a bigger push to fix health risks like black mould, which can harm breathing and cause allergies.
